Grace Farms includes the River Building and 80 acres of nature preserve. Its aim is to invite visitors to experience nature, encounter the arts, pursue justice, foster community and explore faith. It was established with the idea that space communicates and can inspire people to collaborate for mutual good.
Grace Farms does humanitarian work to end modern slavery and foster more grace and peace in our local and global community.
The River Building is a large multi-purpose building, which has won many design & architectural awards. It has a single long roof which seems to float above the surface of the ground as it twists and turns across the landscape. It houses a library, auditorium, gymnasium, tea room, and cafeteria.
Our tour starts at 10:30 and lasts for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Complimentary tea is included; served by a Tea Expert. For those who want to stay for lunch, the Cafe is available. The Cafe serves excellent seasonal food.
The senior charge for our tour is $18. The maximum allowed on the tour is 10. It is first come, first served so make out your check for $18 to Encore and send to Luisa Kelso at 64 DeForest Road, Wilton. Any questions, call either Luisa (203-762-1346) or Pat (201-675-1707)
Please RSVP by April 25.
Of course, we will car pool, meeting at the Commuter lot next to Orem’s at 9:45.
